The 1456 Problem

Use each of the numbers 1, 4, 5, and 6 once,
along with the basic arithmetical operations
(addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
to get an expression that is equal to 24.

You cannot use powers, roots, trigonometry, factorials,
or any other symbols or functions.
Only +, −, ×, /, and brackets may be used.
